Ingrid had always had a penchant for drawing, painting and solving problems, but it was only after a year in the south of France that she decided to train as an architect.

Carl-Johan was fascinated by old buildings early on. With his solid interest in construction and design, training to become an architect seemed the natural thing to do. No other profession was given a second thought.

Growing up on Gotland, he took summer jobs as a carpenter and after training as an architect at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, he began professional life as an architect.

With his keen interest in cultural history and artifacts, training as a cabinet maker and conservator felt natural for Lars Olausson. After ten years in the trade, he made the switch to architect.

For Lisa Landgård there was never any doubt in terms of career choice – she would become an architect. Over the years, she’s worked on several major projects.

Joakim Lyth has enjoyed a successful career as an architect and many of his briefs are widely acclaimed and award-winning. But initially, the profession was not his first choice.
